MIXSYN EQUIPMENT is a family run business serving the polyurethane industry. We specialize in custom built dispensing machines and outstanding technical service. While this site is dedicated to the spray foam market our other website www.mixsyn.com features equipment for molding and casting urethanes.
I started working with polyurethane's in 1983 for PDL (Polymer Development Labs)one of the first companies to develop fast set polyurethanes. I was fortunate to be in on the ground floor of some amazing technologies including polyureas, hybrid polyester/polyurethane and water blown foams. As the tech guy I learned about the processing machinery, materials and applications. I later spent several years in the field as a foam roofing applicator earning my Journeyman's card in 1986. Working in the field is far different than spraying in the lab and these experiences helped forge my skills and develop the confidence to start my own business.
We relocated from California to Oregon in 2003 to be closer to family and remain a small mom and pop operation with our three sons now lending a hand. We know what its like to be a small struggling business during tough economic times and this has driven the development of lower cost simpler dispensing machines.
Our philosophy is geared toward educating our customers and providing them the best possible product with continued technical support after the sale.
